SAFEC is a regularly audited company because of its industry, but in recent years, the number of audits has skyrocketed and we have been audited 10 times. Simultaneously, I was seeing auditors taking an increasing number of shortcuts, flouting my rights, showing bad faith and behaving inappropriately.

I have gone through these numerous audits without problems, and I also counselled clients using the expertise I had developed. I can confirm that even with the help of a tax advisor, there are audits that turn into a nightmare, usually because the client does not know how to react, what to do or say, or answer the auditor without taking the time to check the best answer to give for example.
